Welcome to the Fawkham Bee Company
We have been keeping bees in West Kent now for 13 years. They are spread along the Darenth Valley, many adjacent to the river, from Horton Kirby along the valley through Shoreham where they are situated around the lavender fields of Castle Farm. We also have apiaries at Chevening, Kemsing, Ightham, Weald, Hildenborough, Ide Hill, Goathurst Common, Westerham and Crockham Hill to name but a few.
The majority of our apiaries are in the District of Sevenoaks and we try to return the honey to shops in the location the bees collected from. We are proud that our honey never leaves the District in its journey to the jar.
Our regular Kent honey is from the Sevenoaks area with a little also from Hildenborough. If you suffer from pollen allergies in late Summer then this is the honey that could help you. As it is collected by the bees in July and August from the abundance of trees, garden plants and blackberry that flowers at this time.
Our runny Sevenoaks Honey is a honey selected for its lighter colour and mellow taste. Collected by the bees from the wild flowers on the southern slopes of the Downs within the Sevenoaks District.
